Baby Girl Kunmi | Newborn Photos Calgary

Beautiful baby girl Kunmi’s newborn photos are some of my all-time favorites. Her mom came to see my studio before she was born to see everything, so I was able to see how excited she was for her little miracle. This baby girl was so loved already before even being born. We went over the props that I had available for the session and colors. Kunmi’s aunt has a great eye for color and had to come along to see what props we could use for her newborn photos. I really do enjoy meeting a family prior to the session to get a better idea of their style, preferences, and what they are looking for. I find it also helps put families at ease to see exactly where their newborn photos will take place.

I was so excited to get the email that little Kunmi was born. She is one of the most beautiful babies with amazing curly black hair and gorgeous dark skin. Every single color that we used for Kunmi’s session looked perfect with her skin tone. We used pinks, purples, yellows, and a couple of neutrals. It was easy to get through so many poses because Kunmi slept through the entire session. She was one of the easiest babies I have ever had to pose – which not only made her a dream to photograph but also made for a perfect gallery! One of my favorite images from her session is with Kunmi on a yellow posing fabric (from Hello Little Props) with a beautiful big smile. I even have this particular image printed in my studio. It was hard to narrow it down to my favorites from her session, but here are the ones that I love most from her newborn photos in Calgary.
